Car door closure force measurement unit uses acceleration sensor

The force measurement unit (2) is temporarily fixed (3) to the door by a rubber sucker and has an acceleration sensor (1) which records the acceleration required to close the car door. The acceleration is displayed (4) and can be processed manually or by computer to give the closure force value.
