PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making grasping tool with a simple structure which enables application as any grasping tool, for example, a tong for foods and a medical pincette by keeping grasping parts at both ends approaching or contacting each other less bulked and eliminates the need for managing parts by arranging an opening stopper integrally on the grasping tool. SOLUTION: Base end parts of two arm rods 2 each having a grasping part 1 at the tip part thereof are successively arranged with each other to be formed in a V or U shape while the grasping parts 1 at both the end parts are resiliently energized in the direction of separating from the state of approaching each other. In this case, an opening stopper 3 is rotatably arranged on the arm rods 2 while being turned to be detachably retained on the arm rods 2 with the grasping parts 1 approaching or contacting each other. At the same time, the opening stopper 3 retained can stop the grasping parts 1 at both end parts to be kept open.
