PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plum processed food afforded with additional versatile and beneficial functions while making the best use of the useful ingredients inherent in plum so as not to limit its main applications to domestic foods/drinks and food additives and the like, and having no acidity effect. SOLUTION: This plum processed food is such one as to be subjected to electromagnetic waves with wavelengths of 0.03 to 150 mm; thereby this plum processed food acquires safe and versatile natural-based quality-improving functions while making the best use of the useful ingredients inherent in plum such as organic acids.
