PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an additional diversity gain by broadcasting both on-time and delay versions of program signals from a gesstationary satellite. SOLUTION: In a satellite transmission system 100, the digital music and other audio information are received by one or plural mobile objects (receivers) 150 from an incoming link station. The system 100 includes two gesstationary satellites 110 and 120 which operate via the broadcasting and plural ground repeaters 140. The perspective between the objects 150 and satellites 110 an 120 is blockaded by the high buildings, underpasses and other structures. In order to prevent the interruption of reception on the occurrence of the blockade, the satellites 110 and 120 and the repeaters 140 transmit the on-time versions of audio output and also the versions of program signals which are delayed by four seconds, respectively. |
