PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ease the difference in pattern rigidity between pattern constitution units and to improve the operation stability, noise property, and uniformity by setting the angle of the pattern constitution unit of the minimum pitch smaller than the angle of the maximum pitch. SOLUTION: In this pneumatic tire, a groove wall in the cross section perpendicular to a lateral groove 6 is so formed that an angle of a pattern constitution unit of the minimum pitch is set smaller than an angle of the maximum pitch in an outward angle formed with a vertical line to the tread surface 2S rising in an intersection between the groove wall and a tread surface 2S. This constitution can reduce the difference between the pattern rigidities of minimum and maximum pitches and improve the operation safety, noise property, and uniformity. |
