PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply grains from any direction without shifting a grain elevating and metering machine when it is used combined with other grain elevating and metering machine in particular by making it possible to supply grains from any direction to the grain elevating and metering machine without limiting only to from the rear direction. SOLUTION: This grain elevating and metering machine is provided with a grain elevating cylindrical body 3 in which an elevating means is arranged, a supply hopper 4, which is secured in a lower part of the rear wall face of the grain elevating cylindrical body 3, and a reservoir tank 6 which is installed at an upper part of the front wall face of the grain elevating cylindrical body 3 to reserve the grains to be elevated. In this case, a second supply hopper 5 is detachably secured to a lower portion of the front wall face of the grain elevating cylindrical body 3 so as to oppose to the supply hopper 4 through a second supply hole so that grains can be supplied from either the supply hopper 4 or the second supply hopper 5 according to the mode of the use of a grain elevating and metering machine 1.
