PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feel stop mechanism in a sliding door, which enables the sliding door to stop at an arbitrary position, and to smoothly move in an opening or closing direction from a stop condition. SOLUTION: A stopper mechanism A for stopping a door body 1 comprises a first braking member 12 having a first shaft 13, a second braking member 15 having a second shaft 14, and a link member 16 coupling the first shaft 13 with the second shaft 14. The first braking member 12 is made of an elastic material while the second braking member 15 is made of a rigid material. The second braking member 15 is swingable, relative to the first shaft 13, through the intermediary of the link member 15, and accordingly, the second braking member 15 is displaced rearward in the moving direction, direct below the first braking member 12, during movement of the door body 1, and when the operation of the door during opening is once stopped, the braking is effected so as to stop the door body 1.
