STOCK CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stock control system which can reduce the time for lending and returning stock articles without increasing the number of workers. SOLUTION: A tag 3 has a built-in type IC chip storing the information of an article 55. A scanner 4 reads the information of the article 55, which is stored in the IC chip 2. A case 5 contains the article 55 to which the tag 3 is attached. The scanner 4 and the case 5 are positioned so that the nearly center section of the tag 3 attached to the article 55 is opposed to the nearly center section of the scanner 4. The information of a book 1 can be read by the scanner 4 by only such simple work as containing the article 55 to which the tag 3 is attached in the case 5.
