PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove or reduce bending or twist in a housing in molding an insulating housing by providing a molding material flow crossing limiting means in a molding cavity for a mold forming the insulating housing by injecting the molding material in the molding cavity and hardening it. SOLUTION: The bottom part 104 of a mold used for manufacturing an insulating housing includes a main chase body 106 and a main core body 108. Finger supports 110, 112 are provided in opposed longitudinal side parts and tapered core finger part rows 114, 116 projecting inward are provided thereto. The rows 114, 116 are provided with finger parts 118, 120 and finger part 122, 124 respectively. The finger parts 118, 120, 122, 124 are formed into molding material flow crossing limiting members in a mold cavity. The molding material flow crossing limiting members act as diversion regulators and reduce the bending and twist of the completed insulating housing.
