PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability while quickly discriminating the operation to be required and the information of equipment whether it is operated or not even in the operation by an unskilled worker by providing a display lamp for displaying at least one of a request of the switch operation and the effectiveness of the switch operation. SOLUTION: A switch board 16 is provided with plural switches 17 including a lowering switch for lowering a frame 4 to a winding work position, a start switch for starting each electric motor of a bobbin holder 2 and a traverse device 12, a threading switch for operating a threading device 8, a pusher switch for operating a package pushing device 6, and a stop switch for stopping the winding machine. A display lamp 18 corresponding to each switch 17 is provided at a position close to each switch 17. At the time of operating the winding machine, the display lamps 18 are lighted so as to inform a worker whether the switch operation is effective or not and so as to inform the corresponding operation.
