PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ancillary device of a compact and lightweight construction which can be used rapidly and easily by being connected to a vacuum cleaner or galvanic belt and is completely free from such trouble as to cause an overheat of a motor, causing a safe operation. SOLUTION: This ancillary device is used, if necessary, as a household electric appliance and/or singly movable type household electric appliance adapted to be attached to a vacuum cleaner or galvanic belt. A base 2 with wheels 11a, 11b is provided, and the base 2 supports an electric motor 3, which is dynamically connected to a roller-shaped apparatus 4. A means is provided on the base 2 so as to be mounted to the vacuum cleaner, galvanic belt or handle, and sheets 10a, 10b for the roller-shaped apparatus are provided on the base 2.
