PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably produce an embossed film good in surface matte properties without generating the peeling inferiority of a film-like extrudate from a rubber roll. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin is extruded in a film form from a mold in a molten state and the film-like extrudate is pressed between an embossing roll and a rubber roll to produce an embossed film to which the embossed pattern of the embossing roll is transferred. In this manufacturing method, a cooling liquid different in temp. corresponding to the lateral temp. distribution of the film-like extrudate 2 between the embossing roll 3 and the rubber roll 4 is used to uniformize the lateral temp. distribution of the surface of the rubber roll 4. |
