PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket changing device for a nut runner capable of automatically changing a socket in a short time, having a saved space and a relatively simple structure. SOLUTION: In this device, a plurality of socket holders 20A, 20B,... having sockets 26A, 26B,... corresponding to nuts or bolts having different nominal dimensions are mounted on a socket magazine 10. When the nuts or bolts having the different nominal dimensions are fastened, a selected socket are indexed by an index device 30 and moved from a waiting position to such a position as to be aligned to an output shaft 2 of a nut runner 1, and the fastening operation is performed.
