PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mount ejector header for a card bus in a low and narrow profile. SOLUTION: A pull-out plate 10 is mounted opposite in the direction of inserting a card at a position interferencing with the height of the card and a link 11 matches the mating portion of the plate 10 and matches a link receiver 8 of an upper cover 6 in the state that the other end is projected to the outside. A recessed groove is provided for guide of the card made mainly of plastic and polarity keys 15 are provided at the right and left sides at a position of fixing an ESD clip 13 matching a header portion 1. A ground short-circuit portion is overlapped on the end opposite to an entrance under a screw setting portion 16. A push rod 17 is provided on a guide rail 5 so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction. The other end bent in an L-shape is superposed on the guide rail 17 at the right side, e.g. and a push button 18 is fixed on the side in the direction of inserting the card, and the other end is fitted to the link 11 in a rotatable manner.
