PURPOSE: A mobile boring device is provided to bore such a steep slant face as a steep mountain slope by up and down moving a boring unit on a steep slant face employing a pulley and a winch. CONSTITUTION: A boring device comprises a trolley(40), a boom lift cylinder(6), first and second chain feed cells(2,4) and a drifter(1). The trolley is installed onto a body frame(11) and constituted of a platform(7) for a worker and wheels(12). Fixing members(15) are formed at front and rear ends of the body frame to prevent rolling of the wheels on a slant face by pressurizing the slant face and to restrain the trolley from moving during a boring work. A fixing pin installed close to a support shaft of the body frame holds the support shaft after extension and shortening of the support shaft to prevent change of length of the support shaft due to an external shock or vibration of the boring device. To fix the boring device on the slant face, a fixing cylinder(14) is extended to make the fixing member pressurize the slant face. Therefore, boring on the slant face is performed stably.
