IMAGE SENSOR AND FABRICATION METHOD

PURPOSE: An image sensor is provided to increase light sensitivity by improving a light concentrating capacity of a high-density image sensor. CONSTITUTION: An image sensor comprises a concave lens(211) which is formed between adjacent micro lenses(107). The concave lens(211) consists of a reflexibility more than that of the micro lens(107). An edge of the concave lens(211) is partially overlapped with an edge of the micro lens(107). A non overlapped edge of the concave lens(211) is adjacent to a buffer oxide film(210).
