PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to prevent electrostatic charge from accumulating on a conductive pattern by using short rings. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes an insulation substrate(10), a gate insulation layer, a gate bus line(100), and a data bus line(15). The data bus line includes a conductive pattern(12) for preventing cut of the data bus line. A short ring(13) is implemented on each terminal of the conductive pattern and the data bus line. The short ring prevents the electrostatic charge from accumulating in the conductive pattern and the data bus line. The short ring is a thin film transistor, whose gate electrode is a predetermined region of the gate bus line, and whose source and drain electrodes are the conductive pattern. The gate bus line contacts the conductive pattern.
