PURPOSE: A method for deleting a short message for a receiving information of a voice message, is provided to automatically delete the received short message or automatically convert a confirmation flag to a confirmation state, when decided that the user performs a dialing operation to a pre-set telephone number by receiving the short message for informing a voice message receiving. Therefore, the method enables for user not to perform an additional operation for again confirming or deleting a short message. CONSTITUTION: A method for deleting a short message for a receiving information of a voice message, comprises the steps of: checking whether a short message is received to inform receiving of a voice message; performing an alarm operation when the message is received; checking whether a telephone number is dialed for a confirmation of the voice message by a user; deleting the short message or converting to a state indicating a confirmation of the message, when the telephone number is dialed.
