METHOD FOR NOTIFYING ALARM IN NETWORK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for notifying an alarm is provided to easily notify an alarm position by using a hierarchical node structure in a network management system. CONSTITUTION: A method for notifying an alarm in a network management system comprises the steps of: if alarm information is supplied from a transmission equipment, retrieving whether a node supplying the alarm information is previously registered in a tree presenting a hierarchical node structure; if not, registering the node in the tree; if the node is already registered in the tree or the node registering process is completed, storing the alarm information; and displaying the tree according to a display command of a user for an alarm position.
