METHOD FOR RECYCLING SLUDGE CONTAINING FENI GENERATED ON PROCESS FOR RECYCLING ETCHING WASTE LIQUID CONTAINING NI

PURPOSE: A method is provided to recycle FeNi sludge from waste sludge containing Fe-Ni. CONSTITUTION: FeNi sludge is molten with hydrochloric acid to produce aqueous solution containing iron chloride and nickel chloride. The aqueous solution containing nickel chloride is blown by air to be oxidized. Then FeCl2 becomes FeCl3. The FeCl3 reacts to water to form a FeOOH core and adds alkali while adjusting a temperature within 40 to 70°C to form FeOOH sludge. The FeOOH sludge is filtered to separate remain solution containing nickel chloride from the sludge and cleansed with acid to obtain FeOOH. Alkali is added to the remain solution to form nickel hydroxide sludge. The hydroxide sludge is filtered and cleansed with acid to obtain nickel hydroxide.
