CONTAINER FOR EVAPORATING DEFROST WATER OF REFRIGERATOR WITH EVAPORATION PROMOTING SHELF

PURPOSE: An evaporating container for defrost water of a refrigerator is provided to promote moisture absorption and evaporation as well as to use high temperature effectively in operating a compressor when evaporating defrost water in a container. CONSTITUTION: An evaporation promoter(30) is assembled by inserting a hanging portion(32b) into a hole(36) through an opening(32a) to hang plural moisture absorbing/evaporating members(35) to a shelf. The evaporation promoter is simply mounted by being only arranged on the bottom of a collecting/evaporating unit(22) of an evaporating container(20). In the evaporation promoter, the moisture on the bottom of the evaporating container is absorbed, raised and evaporated from the moisture absorbing/evaporating members. The defrost water is evaporated rapidly so that the draining frequency is remarkably reduced without separating the container.
