This is an automobile engine "auto-starter system" that shuts off the engine (or prevents the engine from starting) as soon as it senses any, or any dangerous level (as preset) of, carbon monoxide (CO) gas in the vicinity. It does so electronically with the help of a carbon monoxide detector. This will prevent poisoning and accidental death or harm from buildup of any dangerous level of the potentially lethal or harmful carbon monoxide especially in places like an improperly ventilated garage.
