PURPOSE: A metal mold for cutting and attaching tape for a lead frame is provided to prevent generation of tape cut burr and cut alien materials when drawing out tape. CONSTITUTION: A tape(70) is cut in a certain shape by a die block(40) if a punch plate descends toward a heater block and attached on a lead frame. An adhesive layer(72) is cut and a polyimide film(74) is cut. Thus, a compressing destructed point is not occurred and burr or alien materials are not produced. On the surface of the die block, a certain shape(a square groove, a V groove, or an R type groove) is formed to prevent burr and alien materials formed in another circle.
