PURPOSE: A method for coating an aluminium-containing paint and then coating a different kind of metal alkoxide-containing paint over again is provided which improves heat resistance, surface hardness and adhesive property. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of (1) preparing a sand blast treated and defatting treated coating material, (2) primarily coating an aluminium-containing paint on the coating material at ordinary temperatures, (3) primarily heat treating the primarily coated coating material at 300 to 500°C for 1 to 3 hr, (4) preheating the primarily coated coating material at more than 40°C, (5) secondly coating a metal alkoxide-containing inorganic-based paint on the preheated coating material, (6) drying the secondary coated coating material, and (7) heat treating the dried secondary coated coating material at 80 to 300°C for 10 min to 3 hr. The method can be applied effectively for coating various facilities for high temperatures.
