OIL SEPARATOR AND COOLING CYCLE USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: An oil separator is provided to have a simple structure, to be easily produced, to effectively separate a coolant and oil and to reduce a noise and a vibration according to a flowing of coolant by forming a muffler. CONSTITUTION: Small particles of oil is massed between gaps of metal foaming material by passing the metal foaming material(11) in a state reduced a speed during flowing a mixed gas of coolant and oil into the oil separator(2). When the mixed gas is turned by taking a U-turn in a middle of oil separator, an oil drop is fallen downward. Oil is fallen downward by a self-weight, the coolant is faced to an outlet and oil is separated by the metal foaming material secondary. The separated oil is returned to a compressor in a state mixed with coolant gas flowed from an evaporator by passing a muffler(15) with passing an oil slot(13) formed in capillary plates(12a-12c).
