PURPOSE: An assembly for dual use as a head lamp maintenance and a suction duct is provided to allow a convenient maintenance work of the head lamp while arranging the assembly between the head lamp and an air cleaner box. CONSTITUTION: An assembly in an engine room having a head lamp(20) and an air cleaner box(30), the assembly comprising a protection plate(50) one side of which is opened to accommodate a rear surface of the lamp(20), both side surfaces of which having brackets(52) for a fixation to a panel, the other side of which having an insertion portion(53) having at one end thereof a protruded stopper(54), at the other end thereof an insertion groove(55), and at a bottom portion thereof a semi-circular safe loading portion(56) for installation of a suction duct(40) connected to an opening(31) of the air cleaner box(30), and a protection cover(60) having at an end thereof an insertion groove(61) for a coupling with the insertion portion(53), at the other end thereof a protrusion(62) corresponding to the groove(55), and at a bottom thereof a semi-circular coupling portion(63) corresponding to the safe loading portion(56) of the protection plate(50).
