METHOD OF REALIZING RESERVOIR CAP USING DUMMY CELL

PURPOSE: A method of realizing a reservoir cap is to increase a capacity of the reservoir cap using a dummy cell in a memory cell array, thereby offsetting a noise generated in a power line and stabilizing an operation of a chip. CONSTITUTION: A method of realizing a reservoir cap comprises steps of connecting a source terminal and a drain terminal of a dummy cell to a ground voltage(10), connecting a cell cap between the ground voltage and the source terminal or the drain terminal and applying a higher voltage than the ground voltage to a dummy word line(20) which is connected to a gate terminal of the dummy cell. In the method, the ground voltage is directly supplied to the source and drain terminals. The source and drain terminals are respectively connected with the cell cap to receive the ground voltage. Active terminals of the source and drain terminals are connected with a metal or polycide material.
