FIREPROOF MATERIAL PLATE FOR INJECTING MELTED METAL

PURPOSE: A fireproof material plate is provided, which is used a sliding gate valve for injecting melted metal and is improved in lifetime. CONSTITUTION: A plate (10) comprises an inner insertion part (14) containing a casting sphere (11); and a body part (16) which is adhered to the outer surface of the inner insertion part (14) by mortar (M). The body part (16) is prepared by oxidation firing 25-90 wt% of zirconia mullite and 10-75 wt% of alumina. Preferably the inner insertion part (14) comprises Al2O3-MgO-C or MgO-C, and the mortar (M) is phosphoric acid-series phenol resin.
