PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user of a store to easily confirm the total amount and balance of nutritive components included in food such as delicatessen by storing information on nutritive components of extracted food for a predetermined period and displaying their component ratio. SOLUTION: The code of a food label read by a bar code scanner 13 is analyzed by a program run on a CPU 12 to extract various data. A storage part 14 has an area for temporarily storing the various data of the food. The code of the food label read by the bar code scanner 13 is analyzed sequentially by a CPU 12 and stored in the storage part 14. A display part 15 is equipped with liquid crystal, a CRT or other display devices which display various data of food read by the bar code scanner 13. Each time the label of food is read, the food name, food code, price, raw material names, and nutritive component amounts and their ratio are displayed on the display part 15. |
