摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make automatic and efficient the determining tasks of the installing places of phase modifying equipments. SOLUTION: This method is the one for determining the optimum installing places of phase modifying equipments for the purpose of minimizing the effective power loss, and the equipment installing cost of an objective power distributing system under a variety of constrained conditions, when its configuration, the impedances of its respective appliances, its respective load capacities, its respective power supplies and the capacities thereof, and its phase modifying equipments and the installing candidate places thereof are given. The effective power loss is calculated by the three-phase unbalanced load-flow calculation using a Zbus Gauss method. Also, as the combinative optimizing method for determining the optimum installing places, a genetic algorithm(GA) is used. This GA has a string selecting step for using concurrently an elite strategy and a roulette wheel selection method. The former is the strategy for selecting a predetermined number of strings whose estimation extents range from the highest one to a predeterminedly ranked one among the strings having their lengths responding to the number of the installing candidate places. The latter is the method for multiplying each of the remaining strings other than the foregoing predetermined number of strings by using the probability obtained on a basis of its fitness.
