Print products (3) or print product groups are fed continuously between a counter blade (4) and a cutting blade (5.2) by a conveyor feeding them in a direction parallel or crossways to a predetermined cut line. The counter blade and/or the cutting blade are/is provided with devices for production of ultrasound waves. Several counter blades with cutting edges are provided, as are devices for laying the print products along predetermined cut lines at the cutting edge of a corresponding counter blade. The devices for production of ultrasound waves comprise at least one ultrasound converter and at least one transformation piece.
