PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element excellent in transmission. SOLUTION: This optical element 10 is provided with an optical member for input, 11 an intermediate optical member 12, and an optical member for output 13. Each optical member is integrated with a plurality of optical fibers arranged parallel to each other. The optical member for input 11 has an incident surface 11a to be intersected with the optical axis at the angle of 90 deg., and an emitting surface to be intersected with the optical axis at the angle of 61 deg.. The intermediate optical member 12 has an incident surface to be intersected with the optical axis at the angle of 26 deg., and an emitting surface to be intersected with the optical axis at the angle of 61 deg.. The optical member for output 13 has an incident surface to be intersected with the optical axis at the angle of 26 deg., and an emitting surface 13b to be intersected with the optical axis at the angle of 90 deg.. The emitting surface of the optical member for input 11 and the incident surface of the intermediate optical member 12 are brought into contact with the emitting surface of the intermediate optical member 12 and the incident surface of the optical member 13 for output, respectively.
