PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce combustion noises by reducing oscillated combustion by making the intervals among partition plates at the upstream end of a gas passage longer than the slit width of a throttle section, and extending the partition plates to the throttle section. SOLUTION: A combustor 1 has narrow and long flame holes 4 formed on the upper edge section of a flat combustion tube 2. Below the flame holes 4, a slit-like throttle section 6 is formed. Each partition plate 7 is bent inward halfway in the vertical direction to largely throttle a central gas passage 8a and, at the same time, to guide gas passages 8b on both sides inward. The two central partition plates 7a are more extended toward the upstream side, namely, toward the throttle section 6 than the partition plats 7b on both sides, and the upstream ends of the plates 7a are positioned near the outlet of the throttle section 6. In addition, the interval d2 between the plates 7a is made longer than the slit width d1 of the throttle section 6 and, at the same time, the plates 7a are arranged along the internal surface of the section 6.
