PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power circuit which can generate a stable output voltage even if a load current decreases to a small value corresponchng to the leak current of an element by providing a leakage current absorbing circuit which absorbs the leak current when a specific voltage above the upper limit of the regulation range of a voltage is exceeded. SOLUTION: The leakage current absorbing circuit is provided which absorbs the leak current when the specific voltage above the upper limit of the regulation range of the voltage is exceeded. When the current flowing out of the output terminal 12 of this circuit becomes small and the output voltage Vo exceeds the specific voltage above the upper limit of the regulation range, this voltage becomes a detected voltage and is applied to the gate of a MOS transistor Q2, thereby detecting the output voltage Vo exceeding the specific voltage above the upper limit of the regulation range. In response to the detection, the transistor Q2 turns on and then a transistor Q3 turns on to make the leak current flow from the output terminal 12 to the ground GND, so that the current is absorbed.
