PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored optical fiber which is extremely low in friction between the fibers, or between the fiber and a spool such as a bobbin during the manufacture or the use, free from local increase in loss or when winding on a bobbin and in a lower opening part, preventing uneven winding. SOLUTION: An ultraviolet ray curing ink to form a colored layer 4 which is 0.1-0.25 in coefficient of friction between colored cores of optical fibers, and <=0.3μm in surface roughness (Ra) of the colored layer 4 mainly consists of oligomer having an acryloye group at the end with 0.1-5 wt.% modified silicon oil excellent in compatibility with the oligomer added thereto, in the colored core of the optical fiber provided with the colored layer 4 with the ultraviolet ray curing ink.
