PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit a stage for adjusting the position of a sensor for spot photometry at low cost and to decide counter light by comparing luminance information obtained by a photodetector means with luminance information obtained by a photometric means. SOLUTION: An AF sensor 10 is ordinarily aligned with a range-finding mark. AF processing is performed by an AF block 19. AE processing is performed by an AE block 20. The counter light is detected by switching output from the sensor 10 in a state where signal light is not projected and output from an average photometric sensor 13 by a switch 14. As for the judgement of the counter light, when operation such as AF, average photometry and AF sensor photometry is started and Eave-Eaf>Ek (Ek is the reference value of the judgement of the counter light) holds based on the output Eaf of the luminance value of the sensor 10 and the output Eave of the luminance value of the sensor 13, it is judged as the counter light. In such a case, exposure control for the counter light by flash light photographing is performed, and in the case of judging that it is not the counter light, the ordinary exposure control by AE is performed. |
