<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent foreign matter, etc., from entering a touch surface and also lower the power consumption by providing a protecting means which protects the touch panel and is so opened and closed as to freely open the top of the touch panel. SOLUTION: A touch tracer 14 is provided with a flexible slide shutter 17 to prevent the entrance of foreign matter, etc., when it is not used. The slide shutter 17 is so arranged openably on an input pad 16 while having both the ends guided along a guide groove 32a. A guide member 52 guides the slide shutter 17 inward and when the slide shutter 17 is open, the slide shutter 17 is installed. On a printed wiring board 36, a limit switch 58 is arranged which detects the opening/closure state of the slide shutter 17. An optical sensor unit electrically connects with the limit switch 58 and operates with the opening state detection signal of the slide shutter 17, so the power supply to the optical sensor unit can be controlled.</p> |
