METHOD FOR SELECTING OUTER INPUT IN TELEVISION RECEIVER

PURPOSE: A method for selecting an outer input in a television receiver is provided to select easily only used input ports of various input ports by a menu displayed on a screen. CONSTITUTION: A method for selecting an outer input in a television receiver comprises the steps of: setting up each outer input is used, or unused according a multitude of outer input port; displaying only the used outer input of the outer inputs if a menu key for selecting the outer inputs is input; and receiving outer signals through a user' selecting outer input port of the displayed outer inputs. In the method, the user the outer selects easily input ports since various outer input ports are divided into a used and an unused input port and only used input ports are displayed on a screen by a menu method.
