PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for managing asset for managing an equipment property (asset) inside an industry and a recording medium storing program for asset management. SOLUTION: An information label 24, for which property information is made into two-dimensional code 25 and printed, is attached to every management object equipment. An HD 14 is provided with an information table 15a for recording the property information of management object equipment. A CPU 11 compares property information read by a CCD 2 with the property information on the information table 15a and outputs the result as a change information report 15b.
