PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running and driving device for industrial vehicle capable of avoiding the capacity increases of the engines of industrial vehicles which simultaneously conduct a plurality of works. SOLUTION: A running and driving device is provided with a controller 6' which has plural torque/rotating speed control curves for motors 1, selects one torque/rotating speed control curve from among the curves by discriminating the state of cargo handling works from the flow rate and pressure of the pressure oil supplied from a hydraulic pump 13 to a cargo handling device 7, and controls the torque/rotating speeds of the motors 1 through the stepping-on amount of an accelerator pedal 19 based on the selected curve and an inverter 3'. Therefore, the load of running an industrial vehicle imposed to an engine 11 can be suppressed, depending upon the state of the cargo handling work and the engine 11 can bear the heavy load of the cargo handling work without increasing its capacity. |
