PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately record information with fixed density even in an area where the feeding speed of a film or a recording medium is changed large or in an area where it is changed small without narrowing a recording feasible range. SOLUTION: This camera is provided with a recording means recording the information on a film being fed, a film movement detection means detecting the movement of the film, a pulse generation means generating a pulse signal corresponding to the feeding action of the film, a timer means (S306-S308) counting time required for feeding in an area in the plural areas having different length in the feeding direction of the film based on the pulse signal and a control means (S310) deciding timing in which the information is recorded on the film based on the counted result of the timer means (S306-S308).
