PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output matter in the output format that a transmission source desires for an opposite party in response to the indication of the transmission source by displaying an operation indication picture corresponding to the processing capability of an opposite-side image processor and making it possible to indicate the output format of image data to be sent to the opposite-side image processor, and allowing the opposite-side image processor to output the image data in the operation-indicated output format. SOLUTION: According to information obtained from the opposite-side image processor 3, nearly the same display and operation procedure with the image processor 3 are actualized on the console panel 103 mounted on a digital copying machine 1 at a transmission source. When a document is set and a start key is pressed after an image process, a post process, etc., on the opposite-side image processor 3 are set, the image data are sent to the image processor through a network together with the indication information indicating the output format. The image data which are thus transmitted to the image processor 3 are properly processed and postprocessed by the image processor 3 as specified and outputted. |
