PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that more efficiently realizes a parallel correlation device. SOLUTION: A code generator is provided with an initial LC mask 602, an initial state register 604, a status buffer, a local pseudo noise PN code generator 10 and I, Q shift registers. An initial long code LC state mask is given a mask of an LC linear feedback.shift register (LFSR). The initial state register 604 receives initial contents of in-phase and quadrature signals together with initial contents of an LC LFSR. Then the local PN code generator 10 generates ILC and QLC series, which are fed to the I and Q shift registers. The shift registers output the ILC and QLC series to a correlation device. The length of the ILC and QLC series is longer than contents of number of registers in the shift registers and a plurality of paths are required. The state buffer stores contents of the LFSR for a specific time. |
