PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunction system and its data transferring method which eliminate the trouble of user operations while preventing cost increase and also allows flexible setting for each individual. SOLUTION: In this multifunction system in which a copying function is constructed by transferring data from an input device connected to a network to an output device, a transfer path profile generating part 409 generates transfer path information constituting an input-output path from the input device to the output device on the basis of device information 404 proper to the input device and the output device and stores it in a database 405, and a transfer path profile supplying part 408 transfers data from the input device to the output device according to transfer path information supplied according to a transfer request of the input device or the output device.
