PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with a video telephone function, which does not idly interrupt a user's trial viewing. SOLUTION: An input means 116 for inputting a telephone caller predicted to use a video telephone function and a reception procedure corresponding to the caller name, a storage means 110 storing the telephone caller name and the reception procedure, which are inputted by the input means 116, and a control means 112 controlling the display content of a data display and the connection of a telephone line in accordance with the telephone caller name and the reception procedure, which are stored in the storage means 110, are installed. When an incoming call arrives at an audio telephone set, the content of the display 101 and the connection of the telephone line are controlled in accordance with the storage content of the storage means 110 and correspondence corresponding to the priority of a telephone caller can suitably be executed.
