PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector of gel material in which compression degree can be controlled. SOLUTION: In this waterproof connector, a gel material 22 is fitted to a mounting part 13 opened and provided on a back of a housing 10, a female side terminal fitting 15 which is crimped at an end of an electrical wire 20 is accommodated in a cavity 11 of the housing 10 while penetrating the gel material 22. When a holding member 30 which is provided with lock arms 40a, 40b extended forward on each of up and down frames 33a, 33b of a body 31 is assembled to the housing 10 from the behind of the gel material 22, the lock arms 40a, 40b are selectively engaged with the first lock protrusions 50a which are provided on an upper face 14a and lower face 14b. By assembling the holding member 30 by turning 180 degrees, the lock arms 40a, 40b are selectively engaged with the second lock protrusions 51a which are placed behind the position of the first lock protrusions 50a, and compression degree of the gel material 22 can be thereby controlled in two stages.
