PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size by eliminating a pilot burner and to facilitate ignition. SOLUTION: A bath heater comprises a hot water supply apparatus X, and an extra firing unit. The hot water supply apparatus X comprises a water flow power generator 40A arranged in hot water supply piping 18, a solenoid on/off valve 30A arranged in a gas passage 24 leading to a hot water supply burner 11, and an igniter 47A disposed in the vicinity of the hot water supply burner 11. When a water flow is generated in the hot water supply piping 18, the solenoid on/off valve 30A opens with power being supplied from the water flow power generator 40A to supply gas to the hot water supply burner 11 and, at the same time, the igniter 47A generates spark with power being supplied from the water flow power generator 40A to ignite the hot water supply burner 11. The extra firing unit comprises a manual generator generating power for opening other solenoid on/off valves and generating spark from other igniters simultaneously thus igniting an extra firing burner.
