PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack capable of performing voltage measurement with high accuracy and capable of reducing a current consumed in a divided- voltage measuring circuit. SOLUTION: A voltage measuring device of a battery pack 18 equipped with a rechargeable battery 23 made up by connecting a multiplicity of cells 23a to 23g, is further equipped with a cell divided-voltage measuring circuit 51 for measuring cell divided-voltages Ea to Eg by voltage-divider resistors 53a to 53g, 54a to 54g provided for the respective cells, switch elements 52a to 52g provided for the respective voltage-divider resistors and a CPU functioning as a switch-element control means for cells that turns on a switch element for a cell whose cell divided-voltage is measured only when the cell divided-voltage of the cell is measured.
