PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic signal display system and its acoustic signal display method that reduce a load where an operator observes each passive sonobuoy reception signal, and can efficiently verify the position of a target in water when detecting the target in water. SOLUTION: A receiver 4 outputs an acoustic signal received from passive sonobuoies 21-2N to signal processors 51-5N corresponding to the passive sonobuoies. The signal processor calculates an ellipse locus where the propagation distance of echo sound from a sound source sonobuoy 1 to each passive sonobuoy is fixed, sets a region, with specific width with the ellipse focus a center, and records an echo level corresponding to the region. The levels of parts where a plurality of the loci are overlapped are compared, and are constantly replaced with stronger levels. An echo sound level accumulation processor 6 accumulates the echo sound level of the same coordinates for each passive sonobuoy. A display processor 7 displays the echo sound level being accumulated in each coordinates by specific luminance gradation or a color tone.
