PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a display body from being deteriorated due to DC driving by forcedly stopping the DC driving of liquid crystal(LC) by a signal management and control means in a display body module when the oscillation of a signal transferred from a display control part is stopped. SOLUTION: Since an output Tn of an 'L' level is supplied to the forced display blank control terminals DF-(bar) of respective scanning drivers and signal drivers in a period from the start of supply of logic power supply Vcc up to the 'H' level of outputs T1 to Tn from a logical circuit, an LC display panel 22 is held at a blank display state. When the oscillation of a signal SP is stopped, outputs T1 to Tn from a sequence processing circuit 51 are turned to 'L' levels, a display OFF signal DF-(bar) is turned to '1' level and the panel 22 is forcedly set up to a display OFF mode. Even when the signal SP is stopped by some causes, voltage applied to LC is dropped to zero, so that LC DC driving can be avoided and the deterioration or the like of the LC can be prevented.
